Cost – $100
Conference hotel – Franklin Marriott Cool Springs
For the first time in many years, the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson will be hosting a series of live burns as part of its 2015 Training Seminar. To help facilitate this unique training experience, the seminar will be moving to Franklin, Tennessee and the Marriott-Cool Springs. Live burns will be conducted at the Franklin Fire Department Training Center.
The TACA Board of Directors and the Education Committee have been working to partner with several companies to conduct the live burns which will use four kitchen fires as the scenario. Researches from ATF Laboratory will be there to conduct in-depth data monitoring and analysis. It is the intent to provide the results to all attendees to take home.
Attendees will be able to review burn patterns, arc mapping, failure analysis, debris analysis, documenting the scene, cause determination, and classification of cause.
This training opportunity will be unlike any that has been presented in Tennessee before on this scale!
The seminar has been approved for in-service credit from both TN POST Commission, & Commission on Firefighting.
